Prime Four Beast Boot Camp
The first boot camp training sessions for the Prime Four Beast began last week
Staff from Apache, Transocean, Nexen, Prime Four and Drum Property Group all endured the first of a series of free boot camp fitness classes last week as they prepared for the Prime Four Beast Races later this month.
Prime Four Instructor Ross put the Beast participants through their paces with an hour of intense training over the landscaped grounds and network of paths around Prime Four.
The ‘Prime Four Beast Race’ promises to build on last years’ hugely successful inaugural event held at Knockburn Loch, near Banchory. Up to 2000 brave racers will tackle a gruelling 10km course and conquer 30 epic obstacles, crawling through mud, climbing over 12ft high wooden walls, squeezing through tunnels and sliding into icy loch water!
The event at Knockburn Loch will be held on Saturday 27th September and will be joined this year by a new Prime Four Beast Race which will take place on the banks of Loch Ness which is happening this Saturday (^ September) on the banks of Loch Ness.
Both events are not just about the racing however, and the inaugural ‘Beast’ proved to be a great spectacle and family day out last year. Supporters are encouraged to attend and can enjoy fine local food and refreshments whilst cheering on others doing all the hard work.
