Loch Ness Prime Four Beast Race

Prime Four Beast Race at Loch Ness
The first Prime Four Beast Race went off with a big splash on Saturday 6 September, with 700 hardy racers braving (very!) heavy rain, mud, sun and 30 extreme obstacles set out around a beautiful 10km circuit on the banks of Loch Ness.
Everyone successfully navigated their way around the challenging course safely beasting themselves under barbed wire, over hay bales, through tunnels and a bog, even suffering a freezing cold dip in Loch Ness itself!
Carl Fisher was fastest male with an outstanding time of 49:26, and Brigid Glasgow fastest female at 58:56 – awesome performances over the beastly course!
The fastest combined female team were ‘The Valkyries’, and 4 Scots Army Troop were the fastest male team. The Angry Birds won the prizes for the fastest mixed team!
Prime Four tenant’s Apache had a mixed team running the Loch Ness event, having attended the Prime Four Boot Camp training in preparation.
Anna Morrissey from Apache said:
“We all really enjoyed the race! We had such a laugh! Loved the medals and how relaxed the whole event was. I know everyone enjoyed it immensely! It was very well organised and beautiful location – much more fun than the Tough Mudder!”
Closing date for the final Prime Four Beast Race at Banchory is this Saturday 13 September – there are still free spaces available for Prime Four tenant staff at the event and on the Prime Four Boot Camp pre-event training – please register at www.primefourbeastrace.co.uk and contact Carole@primefour.co.uk asap for more information.
